New cafe Two Ways opens just off Clifton Triangle
In a corner of Bristol not short of cafes, a new opening is attempting to bring something a little different to BS8.
Walter Molinaro and Seda Ozgul, the co-owners of Two Ways, left London for Bristol in 2017 and have opened this new cafe on Queen’s Avenue in their adopted home city.
“Two Ways grew from being together as a couple, discovering our shared passion for food, drinks influenced by our cultures and travels,” Walter and Seda say.

Two Ways’ amaretto cookies
On a recent morning, sweet treats on the counter included mini chocolate cream tarts and amaretto cookies – both a steal at 80p each and perfect to accompany a coffee using beans roasted by Caratapani from Italy.
There are plenty of coffee choices including several away from the norm, with the espresso, macchiato, flat white and co joined by two more – either from a moka pot, or of the unfiltered Turkish variety served either plain, medium or sweet.
For chocolate lovers, there is also a marocchino (espresso with an added shot of foamed milk sprinkled with cocoa powder) and thick hot chocolate from an Italian family recipe.
Arancini with mushrooms fresh out of the oven were added to the counter soon before midday on Thursday, joining half a dozen different panini and foccacie ranging in price from £3.90 to £5.
Open seven days a week in a small unit that for many years was The Bake House, it’s certainly brave to be based only a few yards away from a Caffe Nero.
Two Ways is trying something a little bit different, they are doing it well, and should both be applauded and supported for that.
