New micropub opens with space for just 30 drinkers
Bristol’s newest micropub is most definitely pint-sized, with space for only 30 punters.
Just 33sq ft inside, the Pickled Parrot is located within a former recruitment office on 280 Church Road in St George.
There are currently three beers on cask and three on keg from breweries including Three Acre in Sussex and Galway Hooker in Ireland, alongside one cider from Sheppy’s in Somerset.
is needed now More than ever

The Pickled Parrot is from the same owners as the Wooden Walls micropub in Staple Hill.
One of those owners, Caroline, told Bristol24/7 that she has been “absolutely blown away with how busy it’s been since we opened our doors”.

Caroline added: “Everyone has been so excited and positive… Church Road and St George already have some brilliant pubs but we hope to offer something slightly different.
“Our keg and cask ales will change weekly, and we have no juke box, gaming machines or wi-fi.
“The Pickled Parrot is just a welcoming space to come and enjoy good beers, catch up with friends, make some new ones or even just have a nice quiet drink.”
