New wine bar and shop opens
The team behind a winning formula have expanded their operations with the opening of a new wine bar and shop.
The owners of The Bristol Loaf, who opened their first branch on Church Road in Redfield in 2017, have now knocked through into the unit next door to launch Native Vine.
With the growing business currently in situ inside a Bedminster bakery and in Bristol Beacon, this latest venture sees the team extend their offering with a wine bar that opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and a menu that includes seasonal bites, cheese boards and ‘pairing platters’.
is needed now More than ever
By day, bakery customers can make the most of the new space to sit and enjoy coffees, cakes and lunches surrounded by the impressive collection of bottles.
Native Vine specialises in natural wine and the bottle shop on Church Road is stocked with more than 250 wines, as well as ciders and craft beer.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring natural wine to as many people as possible and being next to our sister company, The Bristol Loaf in Redfield, felt like the perfect move,” says Native Vine’s Emma Blake.
“We want the experience with us to be educational, inclusive and informal in our setting. At our new wine bar, we have more freedom to explore and try a larger selection of lesser known natural wines and most importantly we can talk to people, whether they know nothing at all or are wine aficionados, we want to connect.”
The ethos at Native Vine puts an emphasis on sustainability and the team says the chefs are passionate about preservation, fermentation and sustainability, often utilising foraged produce.
