Not long left to help North Street get a new greengrocer

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Nov 28, 2017

A new greengrocer and deli is only a few hundred pounds of its crowdfunder target to help it open in Bedminster next year.

Hugo’s aims to be Bristol’s most local greengrocer, predominantly sourcing produce grown within a 15-mile radius of the shop on North Street.

As of midday on Tuesday, the crowdunding campaign had raised 92 per cent of the £4,500 that Hugo Sapsed needs to raise in order to purchase the shop’s opening stock.

From Friday, Hugo will be selling Chrtistmas trees at the future shop on 73 North Street.

The Nordmann firs will come in sizes from 3ft to 12ft and cost from £20, with Hugo also selling a variety of stands and Christmas decorations.
