Origin Coffee confirm opening of first cafe in Bristol
Cornwall coffee roaster Origin Coffee are coming to Bristol to open their first cafe outside of Kernow and the capital.
The B Corp accredited company promise “a dedicated space designed to share and celebrate world-class coffee with all”.
The new coffee shop will include a training room, technical room and meeting room.

In Cornwall, Origin have cafes at their roastery in Porthleven and a second on Harbour Head in the fishing town; while in London there are Origin cafes in Shoreditch, Southwark and the British Library in Kings Cross.
Due to open in August in what was formerly Friska on Victoria Street, their first cafe in Bristol hopes “to celebrate, champion and support the coffee community of Bristol and beyond”.

Origin’s beans can already be found in cafes across Bristol including Society Cafe and Ka:Fei. They also previously had a pop-up cafe within the Finisterre shop on Park Street.
“Victoria Street is set to become a hub for people-led events and brewing courses, highlighting Origin’s continued commitment to make incredible speciality coffee easy and accessible to all,” says an Origin spokesperson.
“Offering a curated range of classic coffees and limited releases from Origin’s portfolio, visitors to Victoria Street can expect a batch cold brew on the menu, and an oat milk soft serve, ensuring an inclusive selection for all.”
