Popular wine bar to take six Bristolians on tour to Italy
From North Street to the vineyards of northern Italy, one of Bristol’s most-loved wine bars will be taking six people on tour at the end of June.
Following the success of their recent research trip to Italy, the team at KASK have decided to retrace their steps, offering enthusiasts a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture and flavours of Venice, Friuli, and Slovenia.
The four-day adventure promises scenic exploration with intimate encounters with winemakers. Participants will embark on a journey through Venice, indulging in an evening of chiccetti and wine tasting at a local favorite. Hosted by KASK’s Charlie and Maddie Andrews of Spiegel & Peach, the tasting promises to be a unique exploration of Venetian wine culture.

Get up close and personal with the winemakers of northern Italy and Slovenia
The itinerary then leads eastward to Friuli, where the group will explore the picturesque town of Cividale del Friuli before settling in the village of Prepotto. Here, amidst the rolling hills and vineyards, participants will enjoy a memorable day with winemakers Daniele and Tanika of Vigna Lenuzza, delving into the secrets of winemaking.

Crossing the border into Slovenia, the tour culminates with a visit to the Edi Simcic winery, offering insights into Slovenian winemaking traditions. The trip includes accommodations, meals, and transportation, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for all participants.
Priced at £1200 per person, the tour is limited to six individuals and will run from Tuesday June 25 to Friday June 28. Interested wine enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their spot by emailing hey@kaskwine.co.uk.
