Ritorno Lounge to open in July
Ritorno Lounge is due to open on July 17 in a building overlooking the Floating Harbour next to Pero’s Bridge which was previously occupied by the Pitcher & Piano.
The name Ritorno Lounge is fitting for the former dockside warehouse because it’s the return of Loungers to Bristol, where the very first Lounge was opened on North Street in 2002 and where the rapidly growing company has its headquarters.
The new all-day cafe-bar is set to be open from 9am to 11pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

There are now 223 Lounges across the UK, with Ritorno Lounge joining Bristol’s existing Lounges: The Lounge in Bedminster, Tinto Lounge on Gloucester Road, Porto Lounge in Fishponds, Grupo Lounge in Westbury-on-Trym and Barranco Lounge in Filton; with the Loungers group also owning Cosy Club on Corn Street.
“The builders are currently hard at work finishing off Ritorno Lounge,” says the Loungers website.
“Our Lounge will be a home-from-home, offering delicious food and drinks, all day, on your doorstep.
“We exist to bring people together and our unique atmosphere changes hour by hour with each new wave of customers.
“We are proud of our Lounge and its community and our aim is simple: every customer leaves happy.
“We’ll serve a wide range of food and drinks – we even have our very own gluten-free and vegan menu.
“We’ll have board games for big and small guests, toys for the really wee ones, and even refreshments for our canine guests. Old or young, big or small – pop along and we’ll look after you!
“Bristol, we’ll see you soon.”
