Secret cocktail bar to open behind bookshop
The secret entrance to Bristol’s newest cocktail bar will be through a bookcase full of antique hardback books.
Looking like a bookshop from the outside, there is no doubting that The Library is a cocktail bar on the inside, with plans for it also to be a tea rooms by day before becoming a bar by night.
Owners have big plans for the venue, which also has a kitchen and a basement.
is needed now More than ever
The Library is due to open in May and will initially only be available for pre- and post-dinner drinks to those who have booked at Mugshot.
The bar on St Nicholas Street in the Old City is only a few doors down from the steakhouse and will share its 1920s feel.
