The popular restaurant appears ghostly now

Challenges like Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost of living, which has seen many hospitality venues crumble under the financial strain caused.

Further adding that it was not a decision that they took lightly, they said: “It brings us great sorrow to think of saying goodbye to space that has meant so much to so many.”

Despite the clear sadness conveyed, they were clear to emphasise and commend the contributions of the team, “We would like to take a moment to recognise our incredible team of staff.

“They have worked valiantly, showing resilience, creativity and camaraderie ad they have navigated the last five years.

“Their hard work and positivity has been nothing short of inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions.”

Ending their statement they encouraged the community to continue supporting local businesses as the factors that have affected them, continue to cause plight for all in the industry.
