Six By Nico announces opening date for first Bristol restaurant

By Martin Booth  Thursday Dec 19, 2024

A restaurant whose six-course tasting menu changes every six weeks is set to open in Bristol.

Six by Nico will be opening in Quakers Friars in early February following the success of a dozen other restaurants across the UK.

Each menu is said to be “inspired by a destination, memories and creative storytelling”.

Six by Nico was founded by Nico Simeone in Glasgow in 2017, with the first menu inspired by his Italian grandparents who owned a fish and chip shop.

Simeone said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be opening our first Six by Nico restaurant in the heart of Bristol.

“This vibrant and bustling city has a unique energy that we believe will challenge our creativity and inspire us to push new boundaries.

“We’re excited to be part of the local dining scene and to share our passion for innovative, high-quality food with the people of Bristol.”

Simeone added: “When we launched our ‘At Home’ service during the pandemic, we saw a strong connection with the local community, which made this opening feel like a natural next step.

“Forming strong relationships with local suppliers is a key priority for us, as we aim to bring people together and create unforgettable culinary experiences in this dynamic city.”
