Vietnamese restaurant extending premises in Bristol
The Saigon Kitchen on Zetland Road is extending its premises, just two years after opening its doors.
The empty building next door, which used to be a photography studio, is now part of the restaurant which serves up “home-cooked Vietnamese food”.
The restaurant is run by Trung and Vicky Trinh, who moved to the city after getting married and set the business up from their kitchen during the pandemic.
is needed now More than ever
Located close to the Arches on Gloucester Road, the eatery has gone from strength to strength since starting out selling food on the Bristol-based online food marketplace All About the Cooks.

Chef Trung said that having the additional space will allow Saigon Kitchen “to have flexibility” and host private functions, as well as extra kitchen room meaning the menu will be able to incorporate different dishes.
Trinh will also hold Vietnamese cooking workshops, which will showcase a range of foods from across the country, and attendees “will be able to explore the restaurant’s new herb garden” to discover what makes the cuisine so special.
The extended restaurant hopes to open at the beginning of May.
