Bristol’s best home cooks to showcase recipes in pop-up supper club
The online marketplace All About The Cooks has revealed its new plans to take over Kitchen by KASK in Southville, in a new pop-up supper club series.
On February 23, the restaurant will be offering Thai, Brit-Mex and Mumbai Street Food made by local home-cooks for a limited period of time.
All About The Cooks, previously described as ‘Etsy for food’, allows local people to buy and sell home-cooked food online, creating personal interactions within communities and cultures from the comfort of their homes.

In this new series, the company hopes to bring this service to life in a three day pop-up at Kitchen by KASK, a restaurant founded by the award-winning wine bar KASK.
The series will run from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25, to showcase the cultural recipes that Bristol locals have to offer, with different home-cooks each evening.
The series will begin with family-style Thai dishes brought to you by Nawa from Brentry. This will include authentic spring rolls, chicken pad Thai and Massaman tofu curry, as well as a Thai mango sticky rice for dessert.
Following on from this, Ballymaloe trained cook, Rhianna, will be serving the ultimate Brit-Mex feast. On the Friday you can expect to see homemade salsas, traditional Mexican flavoured chicken thighs and a classic cherry pie and custard.
Bringing the series to a close, Mrunal from Southville will be sharing her recipes for Mumbai street food, serving chilli chicken or aloo tikki chaat – spiced potato patties topped with chickpea curry – naan, chicken or dal makhana and other cultural delicacies.
