First look inside the latest addition to the Corn Street cocktail quarter

By Meg Houghton-Gilmour  Thursday Jul 21, 2022

For centuries, Corn Street, Small Street and Clare Street were the centre of Bristol’s commerce and administration, home to banks, courts and trading markets. More recently they seem to have evolved into Bristol’s very own cocktail quarter, with over ten different bars serving cocktails in the immediate area.

The latest to join the cocktail quarter is Blame Gloria, advertised as a ‘late-night venue’ with a provocative neon sign announcing its arrival on Small Street.

A generous list of cocktails is divided into gin, vodka, seasonal, specialist and tiki. For those that don’t fancy a cocktail there is also a handful of beers, cider and wines and of course, Skittles-infused vodka shooters.
