Florist to replace Goldbrick House on Park Street

By Bristol24/7  Monday Sep 18, 2017

A range of cocktails and world beers, and a food menu including deli, rotisserie and grill dishes will all be available in a new restaurant due to open early next year on Park Street.

Victorian touches will form part of The Florist restaurant and bar in the maze of rooms that make up the former Goldbrick House.

Within the 200-capacity venue, The Florist promises to be a new concept from New World Trading Co, whose other brands include The Botanist, The Oast House and The Smugglers Cove.

NWTC chief executive Chris Hill told MCA: “We are excited to be opening our first Florist in a community which has such a passion for food and city.

“We are very much looking forward to immersing ourselves in local life.”

Goldbrick House opened within the Grade II-listed building in 2006. It has been empty since May 2017 with its owners citing rising rents and increased competition for their decision to close after a decade in business.
