Oowee Diner returns to its roots: relaunching in its original Picton Street location

By Advertising Feature  Wednesday Oct 9, 2024

Eight years after making waves with its iconic burgers and dirty fries, Oowee Diner is returning to where it all began – Picton Street. To celebrate its 8th birthday, the diner is reopening at its original location, bringing a fresh menu that caters to everyone!

The relaunched diner promises to deliver the mouthwatering favourites that put them on the map, from their famous burgers to indulgent dirty fries alongside some delicious sides such as fried cauli bites and mac n cheese bites – whether you are a meat eater, veggie, or vegan, there’s something for everyone. Oowee is also promising the addition of their beloved breakfast menu, which will roll out soon, offering a perfect cure for weekend hangovers in North Bristol. The diner will be opening as a takeaway and Deliveroo hatch, making it a convenient location for diners to swing by and pick up their Oowee fix, with easy parking and sitting outside of the clean air zone.

They have teamed up with Bristol legend, Bos Finesse who they tasked with choosing one burger from the original menu to bring back for a limited time, and of course, he chose the legendary fan favourite, the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. The Peanut Butter Bacon Burger is made up of 2 aged smashed beef patties, topped with peanut butter butter (yes you are reading that right, that’s a blend of peanut butter and butter, giving it a richer but less claggy mouthfeel) homemade smoked bacon jam, american cheese and 2 slices of their brand-new pancetta bacon – Epicly indulgent, bold and downright delicious!

No Oowee launch would be complete without a burger giveaway, so to celebrate the relaunch, Bos Finesse will be at the diner on Saturday 19th at 2 pm, giving away 100 free Peanut Butter Bacon Burgers to the first lucky customers.

Co-founder Charlie Watson couldn’t be more excited about the relaunch, saying, “Picton Street has been my home for the last nine years, and I’ve watched it grow into a real hub for fantastic restaurants. I’m thrilled to bring Oowee Diner back to the community and can’t wait to work on some exciting collaborations with other local restaurants. We’ve got some seriously delicious ideas in the pipeline!”

The new Oowee Diner on Picton Street officially opens its doors on Thursday, October 10th. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, it’s the perfect chance to indulge in some of Bristol’s best burgers.
