Deli to open in former barbers

A new deli opening in the summer promises to be a “luxury food emporium”.

Root & Ember is opening in a former barbers in a location recently used several times by Doctor Who when this corner of Clifton doubled as Notting Hill in London.

The new shop is opening on Bruton Place just off Park Place in premises that for more than 40 years was Mr Swanton’s.

The Root & Ember website says they will “bring a new delicatessen experience to the area”.
