Whether you’re feeling the love with your significant other, planning a Galentine’s day night, bromancing with your best mates or spending some quality time with family, here are our top-picks for a date to remember on February 14.

Valentine’s Date Night at Bristol Aquarium

Bristol Aquarium is holding a Valentine’s Day evening – an adult-only event. You’ll have the ability to walk through the “oasis of colour” admiring over 40 naturally themed displays and thousands of marine creatures that call Bristol Aquarium their home. There is also the urban jungle with “exotic plants, which is all the more atmospheric in the evening with our mood lighting”. Candlelight Concert, the Mount Without

Candlelight is bringing a Valentine’s concert to the Mount Without. It is described as a “multi-sensory experience” with the pairing of newer and classical pieces being performed such as Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy, True Love Waits by Radiohead and Fantasy Overture from Romeo and Juliet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with the beauty of a candlelit environment. Taking place between 7pm and 9pm, tickets cost between £15-£30. Book here.

Valentines Concert, St George’s Bristol

There will also be a concert by the Bristol Ensemble held at St George’s Bristol with classical adaptations of romantic songs from Lala Land, Doctor Zhivago, The Godfather and Romeo and Juliet as well as much-loved classics by Beethoven, Elgar, Mascagni, Einaudi and more. The event will be from 7pm to 9.45pm and tickets start from £10. Book here.

Motion’s Valentine’s Day Ball and Free Rave

On Friday, Motion is holding a free drum and bass rave soundtracked by “the very best house, techno and disco music”, with DJ sets from Cocktail Club, Conflux, Rêverie, Six Was Nine, Suki Sounds, Tekno Disco and more. Book here.

A Romantic Night at Clifton Observatory
