Monday: Kid Brunswick, Exchange
Kid Brunswick is midway through a 15-date UK tour following the release of his new EP, Dead Forever.

Wednesday: Bristol Anti-Racist Action public meeting, location TBC
“If and when these racists try to return to Bristol, we want to ensure that they are met by ten times as many of us, to defend our communities,” say Bristol Anti-Racist Action. This organising meeting will discuss future activity and what can be done to build anti-racism in Bristol.

Moroccan oud player evoking the enticing mystery of the north African desert.

Thursday-Sunday: Vivid, People’s Republic of Stokes Croft
Curated and hosted by PRSC, this colourful summer show features work from Fishlock, Zubieta, SLEVEN, Max Middlewood, MERNY, Sepr and Turbo Island.

Thursday-Sunday: Bluey’s Big Play, Bristol Hippodrome
If you’ve got children of a certain age, you’ll know all about Bluey. Bluey’s Big Play is a brand-new theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning television series.

Thursday-August 24: Faces/Spaces #4, Centrespace Gallery
A joint exhibition from Rose Pettit and Kelvin Jenkins featuring Rose’s ceramics, Kelvin’s collages and a few collaborations.

Friday: Sanam, Strange Brew
Beirut-based, noize-rock, post-folk sextet blending free jazz and Arabic poetry on their first ever UK tour, with support from Broadsheets and Nahda.

Friday: Jamie Raines, Waterstones (Galleries)
Join YouTube star Jamie Raines – aka Jammidodger – as he discusses his new book, The T in LGBT!, which shares advice, tips and personal stories on the trans experience and gender identity.

Friday: Yewnity, Yew Tree Farm
A short nature walk will be taking place at the Bristol’s last remaining working farm followed by free refreshments in the farm shop.
