Benjamin Clementine
Singer, songwriter, poet and cult figure of the Parisian music scene
Colston Hall: Friday, Dec 8 2017 7:30pm
There’s never a dull moment in Bristol, and this weekend is no exception. Friday kicks off with the cult figure of Parisian singer, songwriter and poet Benjamin Clementine wowing audiences at Colston Hall, and the music continues on Saturday with a huge collaboration between two of the city’s biggest forces – Motion and Crack Magazine.
The Christmas theatre season is in full swing (check out all the offerings with our comprehensive list), and Pick Your Own Pantomime promises to be an hilarious off-the-cuff creation that is different every night, as the audience’s live suggestions influence the performance.
Finally, make sure you keep your strength up – official Bristol24/7 advice is to eat at least three mince pies before you even think of venturing into the shops. Draught beers will be just £2.50 when New Bristol Brewery fling open the doors on Saturday for a knees up, and on Sunday there’s a very civilised afternoon of rustic Italian food and natural wines with A Tavola Winter Wine Bar at The Forge.
