This weekend, the skies (and roads) around Ashton Court will fill for the 40th instalment of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. Expect to see minions, Bertie Bassett, a giant motorbike, a birthday cake big enough to feed a small nation and all sorts of other weird and wonderful special shapes taking off and tethering over the weekend, along with a whole range of family-friendly activities and music programmed by Bristol’s Jelli Records.
