Bristol24/7 launches LGBTQ+ podcast

By Bristol24/7  Monday Feb 8, 2021

Bristol24/7 is excited to be launching the first in a new series of podcasts.

The Bristol24/7 Queer Catch Up is hosted by Lowie Trevena, LGBTQ+ Editor of Bristol24/7 and Kit Million Ross, Bristol24/7’s Podcast Producer.

The podcast will look at LGBTQ+ news in Bristol, throughout the UK and across the world. Kit and Lowie will give you a rundown of the headlines and talk in depth about articles featured recently in Bristol24/7’s LGBTQ+ section.

Independent journalism
is needed now More than ever
Keep our city's journalism independent.

The first episode, launching on Friday, February 12, will take a look at queer spaces, the ongoing discussion around transgender people and bathrooms and LGBTQ+ History Month.

Hour-long episodes will be available to listen to via SoundCloud and Spotify. Each episode will also be posted on Bristol24/7’s YouTube channel with captions.

A new episode will land every other week on a Friday, and you’ll see plenty of posts on social media about it, as well as an accompanying article, and lots of links to where you can listen.

It’s a space by and for queer people, talking candidly and openly about LGBTQ+ news and topics.

Kit and Lowie can’t wait to share the first episode with you on Friday, February 12!
