Christmas dining and parties 2021: The Mud Dock
Mud Dock Café is a unique venue with a distinctive vibe – the perfect place to enjoy either a cosy Christmas meal or a full-on festive feast. Their rustic, open and airy restaurant offers views over the floating harbour making a spectacular backdrop to your meal. They have enjoyed helping guests plan parties of all sizes over the years and cater for almost every dietary need.
From December 1, apart from some of our usual customer favourites, they’ll serve both an à la carte menu and a buffet-style menu for larger groups: Their delicious à la carte Christmas menu is perfect for tables of 1 to 50 people.

Celebrating with a larger group? The café can accommodate groups of up to 100 people. Mud Dock Café’s fabulous Christmas party buffet menu is designed for groups of 50 or more.

Here’s a taster of what they’ll be serving:
- Balsamic glazed beetroot bruschetta with toasted walnuts and goats’ cheese
- Confit duck leg with a rhubarb purée, anise jus, and herb crumb,
- Slow-cooked pork belly with boulangère potatoes, braised red cabbage, baked apple and red wine jus
- Butternut squash risotto with crisp sage, toasted pumpkin seeds and parmesan
…and, of course, some lovely classic winter desserts to follow – like sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble.
