Bristol World Naked Bike Ride 2019 raises awareness of cyclists’ vulnerability

By Martin Booth  Sunday Jun 9, 2019

Soaked to the skin got a new meaning on Sunday afternoon as torrential rain fell on this year’s Bristol World Naked Nike Ride.

The ride began at the Full Moon on Stokes Croft, and headed through areas of the city including Broadmead, Castle Park, Queen Square and Wapping Wharf.

Other than having fun with no clothes, the aim of the ride is to raise awareness of the vulnerability of cyclists on Bristol’s roads.
