Using visual and lighting technology that interacts with guests as they journey through each space, the team behind The Lumosphere has created a winter light trail that is entirely unique on the Bristol scene using innovation from the production & events industry.
The multi-sensory experience created by The Lumosphere has a network of lights, projections, soundscapes, and even smells to play with. Playing with inspiration from the natural surroundings of Leigh Court Stables, each installation space inspires visitors with unique textural elements to get lost in.
A rich narrative and themes of fluid, sharp, soft, spectrum & microbiology take visitors on a journey using lasers, video, lighting, art installations, flowing water and nature.
This is a great experience for families, young children, or adults looking to immerse themselves in something playful and different during December with each room offering something new to play and interact with.
Who is the creative team behind The Lumosphere?
The Lumosphere is being brought to Bristol by creative specialists PYTCH. PYTCH are the team behind this year’s brilliant, illuminated takeover of Castle Bridge in Castle Park during Bristol Light Festival. The bridge was festooned in a spectrum of rainbow lights and lasers, and is an exciting taste of what’s to come this festive season.
“We’ve been involved in the production of light trails for a number of years and had the pleasure of designing the installation on Castle Bridge at Bristol Light Festival this year,” says Tom Benoy, creative director at PYTCH.
“We’ve wanted to host our own trail for ages, there’s been many ideas and developments that we’d not been able to bring to life until now, and we’ve thrown them all into The Lumosphere.”
Suitable for all ages, tickets for The Lumosphere are on sale now at £8 for a child to £12.50 for adults from Yuup. For more information visit www.yuup.co/lumosphere
