Keep the whole family occupied from the Easter period with some great activities around the Bristol area.

Egg-citing Easter Trail
March 24 – April 8
Wapping Wharf, Wapping Road, Bristol, BS1 4RW

Explore vibrant Wapping Wharf by joining in with their free Easter Trail. You’ll need to be on the look-out for the brightly coloured eggs that will be in the windows of the independent shops stretching from Gaol Ferry Steps to the Cargo shipping container development. Just pop into The Bristol Cheesemonger to pick up your activity sheet and let the fun commence.

Sharks in the City

If you’re looking for something a little different over Easter then head to the Bristol Aquarium and immerse yourself in the world of sharks. There’s so much to do and get involved with, including touching real sharks’ teeth and getting involved in a shark egg trail.

Easter Holidays at Avon Valley

As usual, Avon Valley have a fun-packed programme of Easter activities arranged to keep the children and adults busy. The biggest event is the Avon Valley Egg Drop Challenge, which combines an engineering challenge with the pure thill of dropping eggs from a height – surviving eggs win you a prize. If that’s too much excitement, follow the Riverside Trail and take in the countryside.

Easter at Bristol Zoo

Little ones can go on a trail of discovery at Bristol Zoo Gardens and try to match up the animals with their egg stickers, or race against the rest of the family to spy the list of zoo inhabitants. Then, they can take a break in the craft area and join in with lots of Easter arts and crafts, including getting their face painted.

Enchanted Easter

Join in the magical fun at Wild Place by helping the Easter bunny and the fairies with their challenges. Take part in the Easter egg adventure and find the Easter bunny’s golden eggs, or go hunting for the fairy homes in the Fairy Door Challenge. Finally, make a wish at the Magic Wishing Tree by hanging a colourful ribbon on the tree and see if your wish comes true.

Head to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm to take part in the Easter Extravaganza. There’s plenty of egg-related fun, from egg painting in the morning to an Easter egg hunt in the afternoon. Easter Egg Trail

Free screening of The Lion King

Sea Hear storytelling
