Treetop Golf opening in Bristol
Two 18-hole indoor mini golf courses opening on Tuesday have cost £2.5m to build and even contain ‘forest aromas’.
Treetop Golf in Cabot Circus promises to take participants on a journey to uncover unique landmarks and meet memorable characters.
The different courses are called the Tropical Trail and Ancient Explorer.
is needed now More than ever
Tropical Trail takes you on an adventure through the jungle. Surrounded by exotic plants, Bromeliads and Birds of Paradise, with large tree roots winding around the course and over the floor.
The sound of birds calling and the shrill of insects accompanies you throughout what used to be the site of Jungle Rumble.
Traipsing along the trail, over the wooden bridges, you will meet the Toxic Trio at Creekfest. Sat upon the Main Stage surrounded by large soundsytems as they blast out their own version of a selection of well-known tunes.
Pass through the course and you’ll reach a tree with long, ethereal looking veins hanging from its canopy that light up when you pass through. Continue onwards and you’ll reach the alien like mushrooms that surround the next hole.
The energy then gets dark as you head towards Thunderclap Ridge. Once successfully through, you can proceed to the whimsical birdcage.

There are plenty of local nods on both courses, including on the Ancient Explorer course with the ‘Toucans of The West’ hole.
Nestled in the Toucan Temple Zone the hole pays homage to a very famous Bristol landmark.
Explorers will also get the chance to take on the bonus 19th hole – offering all players the chance to win a free game if they score a hole in one.

Founded in 2015, Bristol marks Treetop’s sixth destination, and one they are thrilled to be finally bringing to the people of Bristol.
General manager Roo Collins explained: “Bristol’s always been close to our hearts. There’s nowhere else like it, and now that we’re here, we’re so excited to bring an experience that matches the city’s fun, adventurous spirit.”

Also new for Bristol is the arrival of ‘The Toucan Lounge’ – a private events room inspired by the music scene of Bristol – ideal for kids’ parties and adult celebrations.
Other Treetop feature holes to lookout for include ‘The Sniping Viper’ – an ancient spirit and needlessly sarcastic serpent. ‘Mabel The Monkey’ – a legendary monarch idolised by her subjects. The only way to her heart? Jammie Dodgers and Love Hearts.

As well as their unique mini golf experience, Treetop will boast food including pizzas, and drinks from local suppliers including Clifton Coffee, New Bristol Brewery and Left Handed Giant.
Collins added: “Travellers can sample the finest tastes of the rainforest thanks to partnerships with the passionate community that surrounds us.
“We’re all about going local – supporting our neighbourhood and showing off the flavours that make the city so special.”
