Barbers to open second Bristol branch
Minimal Barbering opened their first shop in Temple Way five years ago and after building up a loyal clientele they are ready to expand.
Bristol-born George Knight and Mitch Fielder have known each other since they were 15 and have both been cutting hair for more than ten years.
Their barber shop focusing on contemporary men’s hairdressing opened in 2018 with four chairs and since then has doubled to eight, with Mitch and George crediting their success to building good relationships with their clients.

After having looked for a new location for almost two years, Mitch and George are almost ready to open their new barber shop in Hotwells close to the Pump House.
The new premises on Christina Terrace is due to open on December 4 in a building that once upon a time sold tickets for the paddle steamers that used to dock in Bristol.
“Minimal Barbering will be bringing men’s hair up to date on both sides of Bristol,” said George.
“It is all about good haircuts, just really good men’s haircuts.”
Their original shop on Temple Way is located on the ground floor of the Print Hall student accommodation block, with the Minimal team hoping that their new Hotwells shop will also attract students from the surrounding areas.
Mitch and George’s long-term goals include potentially opening a shop in Bath and opening a barber academy in Bristol.
