Bristol gym wins UK gym of the year
A gym in south Bristol has been voted as the UK’s gym of the year.
Trojan Fitness won the overall gym of the year in the BTS TV Awards after having previously topped the South West category.
Based on South Liberty Lane in Ashton, Trojan Fitness started as a supplement shop before transforming into a fully equipped gym.

Writing on Instagram, the Trojan team said: “Struggling for words for once, to think that a gym we continued from our great and late friend Rid, back in 2011, in the south of Bristol, that has just been voted the UK gym of the year is unimaginable beyond words.
“We just want to thank the members, friends and followers, seeing the comments today on what this place means to you all was so so humbling.
“I’d like to dedicate this award to ALL of the members, to my family and friends, and to those who are fighting a good fight and to those who are sadly not with us in person, but each day with us in spirit and thought.
“This is your award and your moment fellow Trojans, we owe everything to you.”
