Ballet fitness studio to open in Clifton

The new fitness craze behind the physiques of some of the UK’s richest and most famous has reached Bristol, with barrecoreBRISTOL, the city’s first dedicated ballet fitness studio, due to open on Whiteladies Road on September 1.

The company behind the studio already have seven studios across London and Manchester and boast a celebrity clientele that includes the likes of Pippa Middleton, Princess Beatrice and Rita Ora.

barrecore classes involve a ballet-infused combination of cardio, pilates and yoga, based around interval training involving low impact, full body, isometric exercises and stretching.

The classes, which are based around high repetition movements that use body weight and small equipment as resistance, are used aimed at helping clients achieve a ‘barrebody’, notorious for its strong and toned physique, while also promising to fulfil them with a sense of improved health and wellbeing.
