A park to terrify Bristol
Avon Valley Wildlife & Adventure Park has brought back a terrifying experience to Bristol, in time for Halloween.
FEAR, the award-winning scream park in Keynsham, has returned for 11 nights of spooky fun so visitors can have a “bloody good night” as they sip on tipples and feast on food.
Set in the fictional Stidham Village and the Republic of England, the park has been transformed into a horrifying spectacle with multi-sensory attractions, fire and light shows, thrill rides, street entertainment and a scary experience called The Exorcism.
is needed now More than ever

Each of the five attractions – The Core, Vita Nova,X4 Blackout, Malefica and House of Clowns – begin with eerie narrations of the story that lead visitors into the maze where they are met with everything from jumpscares to water puddles, inflatable objects and mirrors.
Visitors enjoying a drink and queuing up for the mazes could be caught unaware and jolted into fear by actors dressed as frightening characters, creeping around the park.

Owner of Avon Valley Wildlife & Adventure Park, Doug Douglas said: “No one does Halloween like us!
“If it’s frights you’re after, FEAR is a completely one-of-a-kind experience in the South West and we know it leaves our guests laughing with exhilaration as they emerge from our scare attractions.”
In the park, brave ones could be separated from their groups by actors persuading them into an exclusive, haunting experience in a metallic container, by the main bar.
What happens inside the container is a mystery for the brave ones to solve.

Most passes do not include access to the “bolt-up” Exorcism which has been called a “unique immersive experience” of placing visitors at the heart of the possession story.
However, the golden ticket grants access to the Exrocism bar – a dingy, sinister-looking room with a creaky bed, a few tables and chairs, barely lit with some battery-operated candles paired with the occasional sound of glass shattering and a clock ticking.
For the truly adventurous, there are electric chairs to sit or stand on opposite the food stalls.
Actors immersed in their chilling extravaganza could occasionally approach bystanders with threats and warnings associated with tales of the village.
The park built for chills and thrills will continue to boo visitors until November 2.
