City hosts its ‘first and largest’ Bitcoin conferences
Bristol’s Bitcoin community has united for a day of discussion dedicated to “empowering individuals, families and communities” through grassroots finance.
Organised by Bitcoin Bristol, Bitcoin West 2024 was one of the biggest Bitcoin events hosted in the city, aimed to increase dialogue around the first decentralised cryptocurrency.
The conference was hosted at Hamilton House in Stokes Croft on Saturday and was attended by around a hundred Bitcoin enthusiasts.

Apart from over ten speakers heading the conference across a variety of finance topics, there were a few sellers who had items to sell. The five sellers had T-shirts, coffee, art, 3D printed merchandise, metalwork and fresh pastries from Hobbs House Bakery.
