THE TOP 5 MOST RECENT AMAZING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS INNOVATIONS

By Josh OHara  Monday Aug 1, 2022

As technology advances at a breakneck pace, it’s becoming more and more common to hear about
inventions that will completely change our world as we know it. Some of these innovations come in the
form of remarkable new technologies, while others are entirely new fields of study that have never been
explored. You can learn about the most recent impressive AI and robotic inventions in this article and all
the advancements you may not have heard about yet.

When it comes to understanding the future of robotics and artificial intelligence, it can be challenging to
keep up with everything that’s going on in this fast-paced industry. Apart from Ai technologies used in
offices and most of the SEO Company‘s, there are so many innovations happening regularly that it’s hard to track them all. Here, we look at some of the most recent exciting breakthroughs, including new mind-
blowing technologies that will change the face of humanity forever.

Amazon Go

The convenience store of tomorrow has arrived. Amazon Go is a grocery store that is completely
automated and run by artificial intelligence. The retailer’s goal was to make shopping as easy as
possible, and they’ve succeeded at it. There are no checkout lines to wait in, no swiping your credit card
or fumbling with cash — you grab what you want and go. It works through Amazon’;s new Just Walk Out
technology, combining computer vision, sensor fusion, deep learning algorithms, and human intelligence
for an intuitive shopping experience that can detect when products are taken from or returned to
shelves. And everything is tracked — Amazon Go knows which items you pick up but decide not to buy.

Google Duplex

Google has announced their latest development in AI: Google Duplex. This system can place restaurant
reservations on your behalf, schedule appointments with hair salons and restaurants, and much more.
Additionally, Google Duplex acts more human-like than other voice-activated assistants by using speech
disfluencies like mmm-hmm to imply that it is listening (similar to an actual person) rather than just
pausing briefly before responding with a computerized tone.

Facial Recognition Software in China

Facial recognition software has been used in China for some time, but recent developments have
brought it to a new level. Some stores use it as an alternative to cash registers, while others are using it
to track down criminals. The technology is becoming increasingly prevalent and poses privacy concerns
for those in China who don’t want their faces scanned by surveillance cameras daily. It’s safe to say that
facial recognition software will continue growing in popularity over the next decade.

Sophia Robot Demonstrates Personality

Aside from being able to move and speak independently, Sophia’s developers have also given it some
entertaining personality. If you ask Sophia what she wants to be when she grows up, for example, she
will reply: I want to work with humans to end poverty, ensure equal access to clean water, and find
sustainable energy sources. In addition, according to its website: Her intelligence is manifested in her
ability to perceive subtle changes in her environment and adapt accordingly. Because of her artificial
intelligence and capacity for human interaction, she has been allowed into several secure locations,
including the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, where she addressed a conference on robotics.
