Where to see the best firework displays in Bristol this year

Bonfire night is a wonderful celebration of all things winter, with blazing fires to toast cold hands, thrilling firework shows, mulled wine, and rides for the family.

The bad weather hasn’t stopped a number of shows from going ahead this year, with some raising money for charity and others focusing on low-noise shows.

Here are our top five firework displays this year:

Fireworks at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, Friday

Enjoy a range of food, games and stalls, with the evening climaxing with a fabulous fireworks spectacle. Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Juniors (16 and under). Children aged 3 and under are free, but are still required to claim a free ticket

Low Noise Downend Roundtable Fireworks, Friday

The fireworks at Downend Roundtable at King George V Playing Fields have proven popular amongst families in Bristol. With a children’s firework display, a bonfire, and the main “magnificent show” of fireworks, the event is an exciting evening with food and drink available as well.

Bristol Fireworks Fiesta: Canford Park in Westbury-on-trym, Saturday

Canford Park will be showcasing a “truly spectacular firework display” this year. The fireworks are choreographed to music and performed by the winners of the 2023 British Firework Championships, Skyburst the Firework Co.
The fiesta includes entertainment from the Ambling Band, Bristolian brass musicians.

Fireworks to music at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildfire Park, Friday to Sunday

Avon Valley is showcasing another “magnificent” firework displays to music this year. Teaming up with Aardvark FX, Avon Valley is bringing a “jaw dropping spectacular” with world-class pyrotechnics and special effects.
Food, drinks, funfair rides and stalls are all available also.

Almondsbury fireworks – Star Wars tribute, Friday

Every year Almondsbury Creative look to “push the boundaries” with their fireworks events. This year there will be fireworks choreographed to music and a Laser & Pyro shows. As a tribute to Star Wars, there will be entertainment including Jabba the Hut’s lair, Lightsaber school and more.
