New vintage clothes pop-up opens on Stokes Croft
A new vintage pop-up has opened on Stokes Croft and is set to trade until the end 2023.
Dynamo Vintage is situated on the bottom of Nine Tree Hill, replacing what used to be El Jefe Jose Cubanos, a street food restaurant specialising in Cuban sandwiches that closed in 2022.
Owner Louis Minter has previously sold stock in local Bristol markets like the M32 Flea Market and the Tobacco Factory Market.
is needed now More than ever

The shop boasts a range of colourful stock
“I try to scour as hard as I possibly can, to be honest,” said Louis. “You always want the best stuff. I go to Europe quite a lot and around London and Cardiff.”
He added: “Some things I get in massive bales and some things I pick out individually.”
The shop’s colourful selection reflects this variety, with rails of colourful vintage shirts, t-shirts, leather jackets, denim pieces and sportswear, from a range of vintage brands. Louis hopes to present these pieces at accessible and affordable prices.
