By Martin Booth  Monday Apr 15, 2024

A member of staff who has worked for TK Maxx in Bristol ever since they opened their first UK shop in the Galleries in 1994 says that she loves her job as much as when she first started.

The store is now based in Broadmead where it employs more than 60 staff.

Colleagues in Bristol celebrated the 30th anniversary of the shop on Monday with a cake.

On the 30th anniversary of both the shop opening and when she started working, Karen Green, said: “It’s an amazing achievement to reach 30 years with TK Maxx and I still love my job just as much as I did when I first started.

“Shopping has changed over the years, and a lot of shops have come and gone in Bristol, but TK Maxx has always remained popular in the city and it’s the customers that really make my job worthwhile.”
