Unique shop to close
With more than 100 stockists, East St Emporium has built up a strong reputation over the past three years for being the go-to place to shop for unique gifts in Bedminster.
From vintage clothes and ceramics to vinyl records and vegan makeup, there’s always something new to find at the shop.

Mackintosh announced the “sad news” in an Instagram post, explaining that the business “just isn’t viable anymore”.
She added: “My vision when setting up the emporium nearly four years ago was simply to support local, small independent, creative makers and I believed in this with my heart and soul.
“I hope that our special space has done this over the last few years. We feel so, so grateful for all the loyalty, commitment and support that we’ve had from the amazing makers/stockists who have joined our emporium family along the way.
“We have made beautiful, lifelong friendships within the emporium and met so many lovely customers, for this we are so grateful.
“I personally want to say sorry to everyone that we cannot continue with our lovely space. I’ve put my everything into our emporium and haven’t walked away from it easily. I’m devastated…
“Thank you to everyone who has been involved in any way with the emporium. It will hold a special place in our hearts forever.”
East St Emporium’s last day of business will be December 24, when it will be open from 10am to 1pm.
