The funds will contribute to the build of the Impermanent Theatre. They’re planning to install 200 beautiful and comfortable raked seats and a new sprung floor stage to the more than 900 years old, iconic city centre building.

In a video the venue’s patron and renowned actor Mark Rylance, said: “Last year, we had an event there to raise money for seating, and it was a marvellous event. There were dancers and I spoke quite a bit of Hamlet. The acoustics are beautiful.
“But it’s the soul of this deconsecrated church, that really gets your heart and opens it up. I hope you consider donating to them.”
They are offering a range of rewards for donators to the project, including a limited edition A4 print from an IMPERMANENCE production, as well as a named plaque in the theatre.
