12 historic photos of Totterdown and Lower Knowle

From trams whizzing railway workers up the hill to their new homes in the 19th century, to swathes of regeneration for a ring road that never came, Totterdown and Lower Knowle have both changed tremendously over the years.

Our latest dive into the depths of Bristol Archives shows some familiar scenes along with just how much has changed.
