This year’s AJ Bell Great Bristol Run will be back, bigger & better than ever on Sunday 19th May, with a brilliant city centre 10k and half marathon. With less than 3 months to go, now is the time to sign up and kickstart your training.
Starting and finishing in the heart of the city, runners will experience some of Bristol’s most iconic landmarks including the historic harbourside, Castle Park, Avon Gorge and Queen Square. The half marathon follows the Portway along Avon Gorge and out towards the stunning Clifton Suspension Bridge before rejoining the 10k route. Get ready to experience the best running event in the South West!

From the start line excitement to the rocking on-course music zones, and an event village that feels more like an after party, the buzzing atmosphere continues with post event celebrations in the après-run zone in Millennium Square.
Whether you’re just beginning your running journey, or conquering your 50th half marathon, this is a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities. So, if your motivation is to hit a fitness goal, to do something incredible for charity, to hear thousands of strangers cheering you on, or simply for fun, take your place on the start line and experience it all for yourself.
It’s not all about the adults though, the popular Family Run for kids aged 3+ takes place on the same day and offers high-energy fun from beginning to end. With crazy costumes, high-fives, roaring crowd support and special medals for the finishers, the kids take centre stage and get to enjoy the big event experience.
