Southmead Community Association works with and offers support and help to the community.

It aims to bring about positive social and economic change in Southmead by providing opportunities for local people to develop their skills and self-confidence.

The charity runs Southmead Community Centre on Greystoke Avenue, a place for people to meet and socialise, where the community is also provided with direct help, advice and support.

Focusing on social inclusion, the community centre provide activities and projects for many different types of people.

Southmead Community Centre is run by the people of Southmead for the people of Southmead, aiming to unite the community through education, recreation and leisure time facilities available to all ages at a low cost.
