Based on Old Market Street and with additional buildings on Perry Road and St Michael’s Hill, the charity run over a dozen different drop in sessions and groups and also do outreach in schools and collaborate with the NHS.
Some of Off The Record’s groups include Freedom, an LGBTQ+ group for those aged 18-25 years old (there is Freedom Youth for people aged 11-18 years old) that celebrates 25 years in 2020, Project Zazi for BAME young people and Corner Man, a new group that runs for 12 weeks at a time and combine boxing and a chat.
There are also drop in sessions, which centre less around mental health and more on community, wellbeing and social change, such as a book club, weekly yoga sessions and Resilience Lab, which provide fun and interactive exercises centred around self-care.
Young people can get involved by singing up on the website or by heading along to one of the drop in Hub sessions (11-25 years old) or Central+ session (18-25 years old).
