Projects, such as the #MYCLITORIS campaign and Bristol-made documentary Islam Ain’t That Scary, enable young people to learn transferrable skills in lots of different areas.

The charity help young people develop transferrable skills
As well as #MYCLITORIS and Islam Ain’t That Scary, projects organised so far include a stage production, song writing and organising a conference. Young people involved with the charity also lead peer training sessions and school workshops on the issues and gender and racial inequality.
“Our outspoken, articulate young activists use creativity to shake up the status quo, smash the patriarchy and campaign for gender and racial equality,” says Intergrate UK’s Lisa Zimmerman.
“They run media, drama, music and educational projects, speak at high profile events, win prizes and awards year on year , push for policy change and deliver peer education workshops in schools nationally. ”
Intergrate UK also distribute media resources so anyone can deliver workshops in schools around challenging issues including female genital mutilation (FGM), grooming for radicalisation and/or right wing extremism, Islamophobia and racism.
