Easton’s Muslim community invited people from all walks of life across Bristol to a huge street party to celebrate the breaking of the fast during Ramadan.
Some 3,000 turned out to join in the vibrant occasion on St Mark’s Road.
Flags fluttered overhead, as crowds of people of all ages gathered on the carpeted street in an immense show of community spirit for what has been dubbed the city’s biggest ever street party
