Tracing the route of man who dumped suitcases with human remains
An eerie silence enveloped Clifton Suspension Bridge a day after human remains were discovered in two suitcases.
As the manhunt for the suspect continues, I traced his steps which saw him leave the bridge from the Leigh Woods side of the span after arriving in a taxi and dumping the suitcases.
By closely studying the photographs of the suspect that police have released, it can be deduced that he walked down the steep Burwalls Road towards Rownham Hill.
is needed now More than ever

A member of the public approached the suspect on Burwalls Road late on Wednesday evening
The bridge was closed for traffic and pedestrians from late Wednesday evening, but reopened on Friday.
Even though passers-by were still using the one open footpath and the bridge remained accessible to motor vehicles, the visitor centre was closed with a mobile police station set up on the Clifton side.
There was a palpable sense of fear from BS8 residents after the shocking discovery.
Molly-Rose Crossley, 35, who walks her dogs almost everyday near the bridge said the news has “shaken up the whole community”.
“I was really nervous to be out and about yesterday as it was such a shocking event but the community felt like we were all looking out for each other,” she told me.
“I will remain anxious until the guy is found.”
