Forest Enterprise England is an agency of the Forestry Commission and cares for the nation’s forests and the Forestry Commission’s commercial activities in England. They are looking for a Media Relations Officer to join the team.
The nation’s forests are the largest single landholding in the country with over 1,500 separate locations including a wide range of forest and open land, housing, commercial property and a variety or recreation and leisure businesses.

The Marketing and Communications Team is a mixed disciplinary team of more than 30 people responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications for the nation’s forests including developing membership and supporter packages; corporate strategy; stakeholder relations and internal and external communications.
The role is a three-day job share Monday to Wednesday working with another Media Relations Officer who works Wednesday to Friday. However, the nature of the work includes requirement for some rostered working to cover work on some weekends, public and privilege holidays and evenings (with the exception of Christmas Day).
