Video: Dirty Dancing in Southmead Hospital

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Jun 29, 2016

A year after she started, dance teacher Emily Holloway has completed a huge fundraising challenge with this dance in the concourse of Southmead Hospital:

The final dance from Dirty Dancing complete with the famous lift was the last of 10 different dances raising money for the Southmead Hospital Charity.

Emily has danced to Happy by Pharrell Williams, recreated Top Hat outside the Victoria Rooms and even taken part in an aerial dance on a trapeze with friend James Alves:

“After smashing my original fundraising target, I would also love to smash my new target,” says Emily, who lives in Redland.

“So to all those who have wanted to sponsor me but haven’t yet, now is your last chance! I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I do, and thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
