100 flats could replace 1970s shopping parade
More than 100 flats could be built on a site currently occupied by a shopping parade built in the 1970s.
The 1.35-acre site in Brislington stretches from Church Hill to just beyond Gilton House, which is not included in the sale of the land currently on the market for £1.6m.
Alder King describe it as a “sustainably located investment opportunity with redevelopment potential, subject to planning”.

In 2023, architects Alex French designed a potential scheme showing 96 apartments across four blocks with eight ground floor retail units on Brislington Hill.
But planning permission will need to be granted before any development of the site can take place.
“The property comprises the long leasehold interest in a multi-let retail parade and the wider site of 1.35 acres,” says the brochure for the sale.
“Feasibility has been carried out with the potential for over 100 dwellings in an apartment led scheme, subject to planning.
“Offers in excess of £1,600,000 are invited for the site as a whole. The site is to be sold as seen.”
