13-year-old stabbed in Broadmead
A teenage boy believed to be in year eight at school has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Broadmead.
The incident happened just before 7.40pm on Thursday when police were called to a location by McDonald’s near Cabot Circus.
Police are searching for the suspect who was reported to have been part of a small group of young people who fled after the assault.

The 13-year-old victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The attack took place at the junction of The Horsefair, Hanover Court and Concorde Street
Detective inspector Ben Lavender said: “An investigation is well underway to identify the suspects and our enquiries will continue at pace today.
“We’ll be keeping the boy’s family updated on our progress and will give them any support they need.”
