By George Jones  Thursday Oct 12, 2023

50 people have now been charged in relation to the March 2021 ‘kill the bill’ riot.

As part of Avon and Somerset’s Police continued investigation, Lucas Poore, 24, and Jacob Dolphin, 22, have both been charged with one count of violent disorder.

Dolphin appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 3, but their case was adjourned until they appear at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, November 1.

Poore will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 16 November.

Avon & Somerset police have arrested two more people – a 26-year-old man from Bristol, on suspicion of riot, and a 29-year-old man from Southampton on suspicion of riot. Both have since been released under investigation.

Avon and Somerset Police still have 20 people in their online gallery they wish to speak to in relation to the March 2021 unrest and anyone who recognises those pictured are encouraged to get in contact.
