A fun end to August, thanks to our furry friends
One of the UK’s most loved dog festivals is making a pawsome comeback to Ashton Court for its tenth anniversary with two days of “world-class” fun for our four-legged friends and their owners.
On the last weekend of August, DogFest will return for a one-of-a kind celebration with activities like the ‘Big Dog Walk’ and special events featuring celebrity dogs from Crufts 2023.
Also scheduled are appearances from This Morning’s resident dog expert Chloe Fuller, Britain’s Got Talent’s finalist Lucy Heath, and accredited dog behaviourist Adem Fehmi.
is needed now More than ever
Ahead of the event, CEO and founder of DogFest, Nicole Cooper said: “We can’t wait to bring DogFest back to Bristol for its 10th year!

One of the many competitions is the Hay Bale Race, where dogs from across the UK will compete against each other
Copper added: “Over the years we’ve seen soggy doggies take the plunge in our Dog Diving activities, crowned countless winners in our Fun Dog Shows, and collectively walked the equivalent of Lands End to John O’Groats – all in the name of celebrating our beloved companions.
“Whether you’re a dog owner or dog lover, we can’t wait to celebrate the festival’s anniversary with the people of Bristol.
“We’ll be singing Happy Birthday to DogFest on both days at 12pm. Come and watch a star-studded performance of The Greatest Show!”

While the event is ticketed for humans, our furry buddies can enter and exit for free.
Tickets also include a fresh lunch for our four-legged friends, sponsored by Butternut Box, expert consultation and advice and access to the fest’s shopping village!
DogFest will be at Ashton Court on August 31 and September 1, between 9.30am to 5pm.
